
Olive Oil Orange Cake
Ingredients
½ cup Serjella Virgin Olive Oil
Zest of 2 oranges
1 cup orange juice
1 cup flour
¼ tsp salt
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
½ tsp baking soda
Preparation
- Preheat oven at 170°C.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl with sugar and salt.
- Sift the flour and baking powder over the eggs mixture.
- In small bowl, mix the olive oil with orange juice and zest.
- Add the olive oil mixture to the flour mixture. Mix to combine.
- Pour the mixture in a cake tray.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Let it cool.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar. Cut and serve.
