Flavored Olive Oil

Ingredients

4 cups Serjella Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 Serjella Olive Oil Bottles, empty

Peel of 2 lemons

4 dried chili peppers

4 garlic cloves, peeled

2 tsp peppercorns

Fresh thyme

Fresh oregano

Fresh rosemary

Preparation

Lemon Infused Olive Oil:

  • Add the peel of one lemon in a pot on medium low heat with 1 cup of olive oil.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and discard the lemon peel.
  • Add a second lemon peel in one of the empty bottles.
  • Pour the lemon flavored olive oil inside the bottle. Seal and store in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight.

Chili Pepper Infused Olive Oil:

  • On medium low heat, pour 1 cup of olive oil in a pot with 2 dried chili peppers.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and discard the chili peppers.
  • Add 2 dried chili peppers in an empty bottle.
  • Pour the chili pepper flavored olive oil inside the bottle. Seal and store in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight.

Garlic Infused Olive Oil:

  • Add two garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of the peppercorns in a pot on medium low heat.
  • Pour in 1 cup of olive oil.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and discard the garlic and peppercorns.
  • Add the remaining garlic cloves and peppercorns in one of the empty bottles.
  • Pour the flavored olive oil inside the bottle. Seal and store in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight.

Herb Infused Olive Oil:

  • On medium low heat, pour 1 cup of olive oil in a pot with 1 sprig of rosemary, thyme and oregano.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and discard the herbs.
  • Add 1 fresh sprig of rosemary, thyme and oregano in an empty bottle.
  • Pour the herbs flavored olive oil inside the bottle. Seal and store in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight.
  • Drizzle the flavored olive oil on the meals you like!
